The Bhimbetka rock shelters are an archaeological World Heritage site located in Raisen District in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.The Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka (or Bhim Baithaka) lie in the Raisen District of Madhya Pradesh, 45 km south of Bhopal at the southern edge of the Vindhyachal hills.a number of analyses suggest that at least some of these shelters were inhabited by hominids like homo erectus more than 100,000 years ago.Some of the Stone Age rock paintings found among the Bhimbetka rock shelters are approximately 30,000 years old.

Bhojpur is situated on the Betwa River, 28 km from Bhopal, Bhojpur takes its name from king Bhoja (reg. c. 1000-1055 CE), the most celebrated ruler of the Paramara dynasty. Two large dams, constructed of massive hammer-dressed stones, were built in the eleventh century to divert and block the Betwa, so creating a large lake.

Sair Sapata is a tourism and entertainment complex situated on the banks of the Upper Lake in Bhopal. Developed by the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, the most attractions like musical fountain, two acres of children's play area, toy train and a suspension bridge, among other things.There is also a suspension bridge which connects Prempura and Sewania. This bridge is built along the lines of the Lachman Jhula in Haridwar. It is the main attraction of Sair Sapata. Boat rides can be taken in the lake, in small pedal boats. In addition, there are four food kiosks, a restaurant, three viewpoints, etc.

The most impressive structure in Bhopal is the Taj-ul-Masjid, one of the largest and most elegant Muslim mosques in India. The building really presents a spectacular sight and is worth taking a bow to. More of a zoo, this site houses a variety of animals that are orphaned, brought from other parts of the state or exchanges from other zoos. A natural habitat housing both herbivores and carnivores, Van Vihar was declared a national park in 1983. However, it has been developed and managed as a modern zoological park.
